What can I do to help? Well currently we have a program in the works where our project will go to schools with an hour long presentation, which has a little teenage twist to it. If you could do us one of the biggest favors and tell your school about this small opportunity. To help, we wish that you could spread the word of our program, try to get people aware and possibly like our facebook page. We would also ask that you take a stand at whatever school you go to and wherever you go. If you see any bullying or are being bullied yourself, try and stand up to it. We are here to support you, always. If you want to donate money to our project, just know that the money will go to larger more well known corporations, including Friends For Change, Cyber Smile, Random Acts, and any other organizations you suggest. As a program this small, we can't exactly do much with any money, so it goes to a greater cause that's more experienced and can do more good with your money. Should I wear a purple sweatshirt? The Purple Sweatshirt Project isn't going to tell you what to wear: it's your choice. However if the presentation is at your school, it would be advised to do so. Also we are coming out with purple sweatshirt merchandise that we would sell and donate the money to other organizations as explained above. Why is it called "The Purple Sweatshirt Project"? What does it mean? |
