Carter Jean
My name is Carter, and I'm the co-founder of the purple sweatshirt project: a non-profit organization, run by teens, to take a stand agaisnt bullying. HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME: I'm a huge book nerd, a fandom admin, a writer, and a blogger/vlogger. My dream is to become a writer and travel the world spreading the love of books and literature. But for now I attend High School and spend long nights procrastinating on tumblr. I'm actually doing FANTASTIC today, thanks to the amazing people and friends I've met through fandoms over the past three years. The Purple Sweatshirt Project has provided a window of opportunity to help others who are going through traumatic bullying experiences. |
Alexandra Huff
My name is Alexandra Huff, but feel free to call me Alex. I'm fourteen years young. And here's a little bit about me: I live on one of two hundred seventy eight dairy farms left in Maine. I have two cats and no siblings. I'm a huge music fan and hope to somehow go into the musical business when I grow older. Actually, my current "dream job" is to be a singer. But, I'll settle for anything in that particular industry (or become a WWE commentator!). Like Carter, bullying always brings me down. It's always different things, from being female, to the genre of music I like. I've found comfort in talking with people, as well as listening to other's stories. You never know, someone could wear a smile to school everyday, but when they get home, they break down crying (an example of what I sometimes go through.) |
